That also means it is on the more expensive side if you are thinking about buying it. This stand can hold your iPad in landscape, as well as portrait mode. It is made from solid aluminum bricks, CNC’ed just like the Apple does to the unibody iPad and MacBooks.
Hard-wearing construction can withstand drops and doesn’t allow scratch to harm its look. Rubber pads bring stability into the play. What’s more, this solid tablet stand comes in two nice looking colors such as, black and silver.
The new 10.5-inch iPad Pro comes with a screen nearly 20 percent larger than the 9.7-inch model, so you get more room to do more. It also delivers a full-size onscreen keyboard. Yet it’s just as portable as ever.
Some of the options for stands, holders and mounts are universal, so they adjust to fit almost any tablet and hold it securely. Others are designed to accommodate only specific tablet makes and models. Be sure to find a tablet stand, holder or mount that will work with your tablet. There are also some stands and holders which can help you get even more use out of your tablet, like stands with integrated card readers to enable a tablet to serve as a point of sale system for your business, or a pivoting mounting arm for educational or medical environments. Browse additional tablet accessories for even more options.
This slender case is cloaked in a traditional bookbinding material called Buckram, which makes a satisfying crack like the well-worn spine of an archive journal when you fold it over into the stand position.
Zagg’s Messenger Folio Case with Keyboard for the Apple iPad Air/Air 2 uses a design more like a traditional folio-style case but has a pop-out stand in the back similar to the one on Microsoft’s Surface Pro. This stand design makes the Messenger Folio difficult to use on your lap, and the Messenger is bulkier than the Slim Book and Folio without feeling more stable.
This is pretty cool for a small business or mobile business that has to go sell things at events and such. The stand lets you connect cash registers, barcode scanners, receipt printers, and any other similar device that will work over USB.

The iProp has the narrowest form factor of the four stands. It supports my iPad 2 with no problem, and can handle devices up to 17mm thick, which will be ample for any iPad model we’ve seen as yet. The compact size does make me skeptical about its suitability as an actual pillow substitute, though. It’s available in either black or gray.
If you own an iPad Pro, plan to do a lot of writing and drawing, and have the cash to spare, the Apple Pencil is the best stylus in its class. It blows away both Bluetooth and non-Bluetooth competitors, thanks to systemwide integration with the iPad Pro’s hardware, and it has low latency, excellent palm rejection, and flawless pressure sensitivity. Its main drawback is that it currently works only with the iPad Pro. —Serenity Caldwell
Erin — any update here? I am trying to decide how to get the best bang for the buck, 150 for the apple smart with additional 70 for the sleeve seems too steep. Logitech Create would seem to give you both for $130 total, but unclear if it’s as good. Quick thoughts?
The biggest downside to the Smart Keyboard is that it doesn’t protect the back of the iPad Pro, and Apple no longer sells versions of its Silicon Case (back cover) for the iPad Pro models. For all-over protection, you must separately purchase a back cover that’s compatible with the Smart Keyboard; we recommend Khomo’s Companion Cover or Urban Armor Gear’s Metropolis, each of which fits seamlessly together with the Smart Keyboard. But this means that you’re paying roughly $165 to $230 (at MSRP) for the combination of keyboard and case. That’s a lot of money, and we wish Apple would include a Silicone Case-style back cover with the Smart Keyboard.
Having sewn the top and bottom sides of the pocket, we now turn that inside out so that all the rough seams are safely hidden insde. We also add the velcro bits that allow this pocket to be held shut, once we add the masonite.
Coming off of the center of the tablift are four flexible legs, each of which has a soft rubber foot.  Because you can bend the legs into any position, the stand works well on lots of different surfaces.  Each leg extends about 14 inches from the base.
Great question! The most info I could find was via a Reddit post, citing 9to5Mac – Apple hasn’t released their certification program. This was from about 6 months ago. I guess it’s entirely possible that Apple uses some type of proprietary wiring, and maybe due to the parts the $30 price point isn’t something others find to be competitive enough. Something to keep an eye on though. Odd that we’ve not seen the market flooded with them by now.
Fintie iPad Mini Rotating Stand. The case is specifically designed for the 2015 iPad Mini 4. In back, there is a special mechanism that lets rotate the case 360 degrees in both directions, what allows to turn it into a comfortable landscape or portrait stand.

Prior to overseeing Wirecutter’s iPad accessory coverage, I coordinated Macworld’s accessory reviews for more than a decade, including years of covering iPad accessories. I also wrote and regularly updated Macworld’s guide to the best iPad keyboards. Between that guide and Wirecutter guides, I’ve tested every iPad keyboard from major brands, as well as dozens of models from minor brands and niche vendors—it’s a good bet that I’ve tested more iPad keyboards than anyone.
I absolutely love my lap log. I used it all the time on the bed and when sitting on the couch to either read or watch movies on my ipad. Love the fact due to the shape of the pillow I can change the viewing angle to whatever suits me best.
If you want a smaller tripod mount that collapses to the size of a large car key, but doesn’t offer as much free-standing support to your smartphone, the Joby GripTight Mount is the smallest mount we found that’ll hold most phones securely.
Fintie Keyboard Case for the 2017 iPad 9.7. Out of a few solid keyboard cases for the new iPad, we’ve picked this minimalist design from Fintie. The lightweight keyboard is ultra-slim (only 8 mm) and features real laptop-style keys made of premium ABS material. A precise mechanism under each key ensures a tactile response with every stroke, helping you type faster.
The angled ‘bracket base clip’ holds thicknesses from as much as 80mm and the robust anti-skid silicon bracket locks up close-fitting, not damaging the desk. The shaft expands as much as 100cm, enabling a hands free encounter for observing video, hearing tunes or perhaps playing online games.
Hello, great question!  The LEVO G2 Deluxe iPad Floor Stand works great for tablets as small as most cell phones and as large as the iPad Pro which is 12.9 inches. The largest Samsung tablet that is compatible with the LEVO G2 Stand is the Galaxy TabPro S at 12 inches.  It’s not quite large enough to accommodate the Galaxy View, but we are working on that.
ConsumerADVOCATE really likes this product. It is sturdy, well finished and allows you to lay on the sofa and view a movie handsfree on your large smartphone. I admit I’m lazy, but it does work great with my iPhone 7 plus. Think about this route rather then buying a separate iPad.

It’s also very expensive, but as you’ll see this is not actually a stand meant for regular users like most of us. This is actually a stand that turns an iPad into a point of sale system. It provides power to the iPad and by using the Square app you can use the built-in credit card reader to ring up transactions.
