Much like mobile card readers, mobile credit card terminals can be used anywhere you have your iPhone. But they come with some additional features that your customers may appreciate. For instance, many mobile terminals are equipped with all of the capabilities of a regular POS terminal, such as inventory management, built-in customer relationship management software, staff management capabilities, marketing tools and advanced analytics.

Installed last night and works perfectly with my Apple IOS POS system. One thing that is great is it comes with the software to change the printer IP address. When you have several POS printers this make life easier. Works with NEC, STAR and Espon drivers

Star Micronics presents the TSP, the faster, easier, and better POS printing solution. TSP is offered for an easy-to-use and ready-to-go installation. The thermal receipt printer pints at higher speed with special de-curl function, and is fully compatible, requiring no additional integration of development.
This printer comes with a disk. If you are using it with an Ipad, the disk is useless. The only thing I am disappointed with at this point is that I can not print by business logo on my receipts. This is not a downfall of the printer but the program that I am using. This printer prints the business logo ‘”IF” you are using a Mac or Windows based POS system.
Works as advertised. No on/off switch. It instantly wakes up when I run the Square register app on our IPAD Air 2 POS with the Square stand. The printing is fast and easily readable. It is very nice when the combination of products (I.E. Square Stand, Square Register, IPAD Air 2 and this printer) works so well together.
Just wanted to update this thread with a solution I came across that could work for your multi-page print issue. When you are at your print preview page, there should be a Scale option available (it’s hiding under “More Settings” on Chrome/”More Details” on Safari or Firefox). Reducing the Scale below 100 will reduce the size of the image and you can keep lowering it until it reaches the size you’re looking for.
Connect your Square Stand with a compatible iPad and recommended hardware accessories to help run your business. Before purchasing a Square Stand, make sure you’re using a supported iPad. You can identify your iPad model on Apple’s Support site.
I’m not sure why there are so many mixed up reviews and answers to the questions. I have two iPad without a square stand. This easily connected to my cash drawer and WiFi router. BOTH iPads are connected to the receipt printer and BOTH can print at the same time as well as open up my cash drawer. The receipt are thick enough to read and make orders off of and the font size is nice. If you take orders with your iPad but do not have a square stand and need a printer that will connect to multiply iPads this is what you are looking for!!
u Battery Pack Life • The battery can be charged approximately 500 times in the normal temperature range without losing performance. If an extreme decline in the running time of the battery is noticed, the bat- tery is reaching the end of its usable life. It is recommended to replace the old battery with a new one.
If auto-connect is not enabled, you need to connect the paired printer manually every time you turn it on. To do this, tap the printer name in the Bluetooth DEVICES list in your iPad Settings (not the Shopify POS app setting).

Printouts created using POS printers may include the business name, contact number, and address. This makes it easy for shoppers to remember where they bought items and return there for similar goods, providing an excellent marketing opportunity. Many POS printers also offer reverse-side printing, letting you add coupons or valuable tips and store policies to the back of each receipt.
I am having issues with printer USB connectivity. iPad recognizes square stand and the square stand also charged the iPad. But the USB hub will no longer charge chip reader nor will the printer’s green light turn on. I also just updated my iPad to iOS 9.3.1
Hello, thanks for sharing. I’m opening a retail store next month, thinking I need a printer for my customer’s that’ll want a printed sales receipt. Could you tell me the model # of the printer that you use for Square? Thanks
To set up multiple printers just follow the steps above for each printer. The general set up is the same for all devices but check out our Android and iPhone pages for exact instructions for those devices.
4. Press down on both sides of the printer cover to close it firmly. When you close the printer cover, make sure that it is closed on both sides. 5. Use the tear bar to cut the extra paper. CAUTION When the paper is jammed, be sure to open the printer cover before removing the jammed paper.
Prynt is a really compact and sleek iPhone photo printer ideal for Apple iPhone 6s, 6, and 7. With this device you can transform your phone into an instant camera, and you can watch the photo print out instantaneously. Furthermore, it prints on ZINK paper with ink already embedded into it, so you don’t need to worry about cartridge troubles.
Business travelers should consider the traditional (if petite) document printers designed to output letter-size content from computers, at a quality you’d expect from desktop inkjets. Consumers who want to print and hand out snapshots at parties or other events will want a photo printer that can churn out 4-by-6-inch (and, in some cases, 5-by-7-inch) prints from memory cards or USB keys, or from computers or mobile devices over a wired or wireless connection.
This was good – arrived in fine condition – however the description said everything was included in the box, including interface cable (which can only mean the usb cable since that’s the only other cable beyond the power cable necessary – and that is also mentioned in the description)… BUT there was definitely no USB cable included in the package. So, will need to purchase one for this to work. Which I would have done when I placed this order, but was under the impression everything was included.
This printer is fast and has useable options. I use it with my iPad and Square credit card reader. You can also use it for POS or other systems or configurations. Using it with Square credit card processor I save paper because I only print the customer copy because all the other transaction data is accessed online. And when I tap print on my iPad it starts and completes the printing in just one second. I saw this printer being used at my local drug store with a different setup and it too works well. Give it a try and I think you’ll be glad you did.
The unique TSP100 set-up utility reduces integration time to minutes even for multiple printers as it can simply mirror individual printer settings to multiple units in different locations, if required.
So in the scheme of “would we buy these printers?” it comes down to would we buy these instead of other Epson printers? I would probably recommend the T20II the most out of all the printers, I think for the price and features and warranty, the T20II is your best bet. If you are worried about space though, take a look at the M series, especially the M10, it’s very very small compared to older receipt printers. The styling on both of these are better than the T20II. If you’re looking for just pure performance, pure reliability, pure speed, the T88V is still your best bet. So that’s kind of the Epson overview of all their printers. Good printers, probably at this time not their best printers, but they are space saving options, and there are some unique pairing capabilities, so if you’re on a tablet or something like that and you don’t have a USB port, then take a look and see if a proper interface is available for you. The transition from a traditional POS to an mPOS also signals a shift in the way people are paying for their goods. As more people use credit card or other forms of payments such as mobile payment apps, NFC, bitcoin, etc., there is less emphasis on cash. However diminished, cash cannot be ignored because people still use hard currency to pay for goods and services. So how can we make cash mobile?
I know this is disappointing, and I wish there was something I could do. Your last application to accept cards with Square was not approved, and I can’t offer any additional chances to apply. Because Square offers a limited number of application attempts, this decision is final.
I use Square for all mobile and show transactions. I have a memebership based POS as well, Would the stand reader work as a complete register? So basicly does the card reader work outside of the Square App? I love the stand and would like to use it in our new place.
Have not purchased this printer, but wanted to let people know that this is not the only printer that will work with Square. I have two Star Micronics printers, one Ethernet and one Bluetooth and both work fine with the Square app for iPad. I also have Ethernet based cash drawers that connect through the printers and those works just as well. This probably has the easiest set up, but it is not the only way.
