Bought it to print off my Square register with an iPad Air and it worked perfectly right out of the box! No driver download, no ink to mess with – plugged it in, plugged in the USB printer cable (mine WAS included) added paper, went back to previous sales and hit print receipt & a nice clean receipt slid out the top. Seems very commercial grade & well designed. This is kind of a 5 star review for both this printer and the square register since they go together so seamlessly. Very nice.
If you accept credit card payments from your customers at your place of business, you’ll want a receipt printer. A receipt printer automatically prints a receipt for your customer when they make a purchase.

I’ve only had it up and running for a couple of weeks now, but it prints and cuts the receipts well and have yet to have any problems with it. Drivers disc makes setting up and installing a snap, and it comes with any/all necessary cables. It even comes with a mount for wall mounting, but in looking at it I’m not sure how you would do that or even why someone might want to 🙂
Epson’s product quality and wide variety of product options is well known, but how do you choose which one to purchase? If you are using a tablet or a PC that does not have a USB Port available or you’ve decided to pursue bluetooth-enabled receipt printers, the selection will be narrowed down quite a bit. Here are 2 quality picks to choose from:
If you are using DHCP (If a fixed IP address is not set), then connect a LAN cable to simply complete the connection. By specifying the IP address output by self-printing, print settings can be configured.
The Square app is compatible with a wide variety of third-party hardware accessories. Below, you’ll find a list of supported accessories for Android devices, where to purchase them, and information on getting set up.
The TSP143III offers three forms of connecting to you POS system. Choose from LAN, WLAN or Bluetooth. The Ethernet version for LAN connectivity is plug-and-play and requires no special setup. This unit worked very well out of the box. Yes, it would have been nice to find instructions, or even a url for where to find the manual, but some kind souls have posted about that in the q&a, so no biggie. But yesterday I plugged it in to charge, after. It using it for a couple of weeks, and no joy. The unit shows no sign of life at. I have removed the battery, checked and wiped the connections, etc etc. The return window closed 26 days ago so looks like I’m screwed 🙁 I’m dismayed to have spent $295 (including taxes) for a paperweight, and not sure what to do next. 😩
Keeps track of my inventory, sends me messages even when I am not in store if someone made a sale and for how much… so simple, once you get it all figured out, first timer here and it only took a couple of hours to figure out…
Is anyone else having issues with the receipt printer not working? It was working great and it stopped to work. The printer is currently turned on and when I go to settings/printers it says no printers selected and I cannot select the Star TSP printer. It is no longer showing up and saying No Printer (Station Disabled). Any ideas?

Everything has become portable, and people perform most of their actions on an iPhone or a tablet. As such, it makes sense that you’ll be looking for a means to print photos from iPhone.
