square is a nightmare! I got a card reader and a payment gateway from them and after few days of using it they deactivated my account without any reason and hold my fund for 90 days. They will not tell the reason why!! I am so angry!!!!

Does the job just fine, although they really should just ship it with a USB wall outlet. Multiple tries of trying to power this AP from the printer were never successful. I’ve had no difficulty with it using the following startup method (assuming you’ve configure the AP to connect to your wifi network): plug the device into a standalone source of power (I just used a USB phone charger, since it’s powered via micro USB); wait a minute or so, then power on the printer.
Check the ink. Most newer models will tell you if the ink is low, but try running a color test to double check. You can usually pinpoint the faulty cartridge with this test and then either replace or clean it.
Have used these at a lot of Arts & Crafts fairs. They work absolutely great! If no text is printed then test has failed. Double check the port settings using the self test, check the cable is correct and correctly connected, check that the Epson port service and Windows print spooler is turned off (if running) and check that you have attached the printer through the correct connector on the computer. If serial, parallel or USB, check that the port you are connecting to is also shown in the Windows Device Manager. If using an Ethernet or wireless connection check that the IP address of the printer is in the subnet of the computer you are running.

How is it aquare advertises that they are the best? My first experience with square is turning into a nughtmare.. before i registered i was geeting all these great emails how great the ap[ps are customer service money availabilities,, and get emails every 30 minues but once i go thru the process to register, add my information and try tio read the small terms and Conditions which seem to go on and on,, and then when im putting in my charges the system doesnt give any flags or markers stopong the user by notifying verification is required before moving forward,, it just lets you enter evrything, then the next morning io get an email saying a rep has been trying to contact you to verify your account so that your money isnt held up.. and the then you go back to your dash board and then you ask for contract, orders, and so fourth. yet you dont provide any disclaimers on the program screen.. then you try to down load docs and ask more questions then you need to know.. and then.. it becomes difficult get help. Then you go to help. and your made to fill out send an email,, then you send response saying Thank you in Bold Black letters?? is that some type of red flag, for us poor smucks who just gave you our hard work money?? because after that.. you send emails.. asking for assitance . and then you send blank emails.. with subjet line thank you.. and then.. nothing happens??
For anyone who has an iPad that isn’t compatible with the Square Stand, I just want to mention that you could use another tablet stand like the Heckler Windfall Stand or the Heckler @Rest Stand! Hope that’s useful!
Perform a test print. Most Epson printers have a self-test function. Refer to your manual for instructions on how to do this. Usually, it is just a matter of depressing one button while pushing power.
Check the status. For LCD screens, this is pretty clear. A connected printer reads “Ready,” “Connected” or “Online.” Other printers will usually have a solid green light when functioning properly. Refer to the manual if you receive an error message.
KaBOOOM. I would not recommend Square to anyone at this point. As of right now Square made my account jacked up my account in fees that I did not tell them to Bill to this account. They do not have managers or supervision in place to assist you over the phone when admin is needed. The Phone reps are unable to assist this type of transactions and no one called me back or resolved my issue. This issue is 100% the fault of SQUARE DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM THATS MY EXPERIENCE!

Compare the quality of the printed test page with the sample shown below. If there are no print quality problems, the printer itself is fine and the problem probably lies with the printer software settings, the application settings, the interface cable (be sure to use a shielded cable), or the computer itself.
The POSprint utility also has the ability to issue Escape commands to utilize some of the enhanced functionality of the printer including formatting, paper handling and issuing extra printer features like kick out command for a cash drawer.
