These customers won’t be asked to enter their contact information after a sale, and a receipt will automatically be sent to their preferred email address.
Works as advertised. No on/off switch. It instantly wakes up when I run the Square register app on our IPAD Air 2 POS with the Square stand. The printing is fast and easily readable. It is very nice when the combination of products (I.E. Square Stand, Square Register, IPAD Air 2 and this printer) works so well together.
With Auto Photo Correction and its advanced face detection, you get perfect photos automatically. And, you can preview corrections on the built-in LCD before you print. Plus, crop, rotate and enlarge your favorite photos.

The printer is compact, prints clearly, and has absolutely no issue when printing a receipt for my Square sales. The fact that it is blue tooth meant I could put it anywhere in my home office that was convenient and not tied down by the length of a USB cord otherwise. I have it linked up to an old iPhone 4s phone and run credit cards using Square and print receipts easily. I’m so pleased that I paid some more money and got the blue tooth version.
Item was delivered on time. I really like it except. It seems to have some kind of sleep mode when not in use and I have to runs it off and on. I needed to return this because it started acting up and my return time expires on Saturday the we th and today is just the 26th
The TSP143IIIU is a game changing USB POS printer, the first of its kind to be able to connect directly to an iPad or iPhone using the Apple Lightning cable for reliable USB communication and simultaneous charging.
Great product and great company to work with. I at first ordered the TSP143U which is a USB Printer to work with a Tablet to set up a POS system at my business. Once I got it, I realized that if I had the printer plugged into the tablet there was no additional port to then charge the tablet. I contacted the company and they gladly accepted my return and let me reorder this LAN Printer. I highly recommend this vendor and their product.
The compact footprint allows an easy fit on your counter top and saves precious counter space. Built-in power supply eliminates the hassle and bulk of a discrete power brick. Clamshell design allows for very fast and easy paper and ribbon loading. Recessed cable connection help protect the cable from damage on counter top.

Standard Black Toner Cartridge (~2,500 pages) CLT-K504S; Standard Cyan Toner Cartridge (~1,800 pages) CLT-C504S; Standard Yellow Toner Cartridge (~1,800 pages) CLT-Y504S; Standard Magenta Toner Cartridge (~1,800 pages) CLT-M504S
Another nice touch is that they include a CD which allows you to customize the printer (add logos, sync with POS systems, custom data to add once the receipt is printed, etc). Keep in mind though, this customization works with certain POS systems, not all. On Square, I can’t tell the printer to print out all of the extra stuff since the POS for Square is very simplified.
POS printers and accessories also give you the ability to provide a proof of purchase for each transaction. A printed receipt can greatly assist with returns or exchanges at a later date. To keep your printers printing, use high-quality POS paper.
For over thirty years, Epson’s advanced technology solutions have been at work in millions of point-of-service systems around the world. As an industry leader, Epson has maintained an ongoing commitment to POS technology innovation. There are many 3rd party hardware options that you can use for your business. We do have the POS Kits on the Square Shop, but you can order compatible hardware individually (take a look at examples of a universal stand, compatible cash drawer, and compatible USB printer).
Don’t worry too much about speed. For photos, quality matters more, and even the slowest printers today offer tolerable print speeds, at about 2 minutes for a 4-by-6 on our tests. Keep in mind too that measured speeds are typically slower than claimed speeds, and (as we note in our reviews where applicable) the speed for any given printer may vary depending on the source you’re printing from.
TSP650 – Turn off the printer, press and hold the paper feed button while turning the printer back on, once the first receipt begins printing, let go of the paper feed button. Approximately 30 seconds after the first report prints, a second report will print with the header “Network Card…”. At the bottom of this second report will be an IP Address.
The STAR MICRONICS SM-T300I is also a light weight receipt printer. But it’s very durable and rugged. It’s also Apple MFi certified for iOS phone and iPads. It also works with Android and Windows. It’s been tested to take a little bit of beating and is used by people who are outside a lot. Having said that the price is higher than other printers. If you need something rugged, this device may be the one for you. But if you don’t. You will want to look at something else as this device can get expensive. The SM-T300i is easy to use. There is a well written and very detailed user manual. The user manual gives details on how to configure the receipt printer and how to load paper. Here is a link to the Star Micronics SM-T300i User Manual.
A completely green design, the SereneLife portable printer comes with a cartridge that loads up enough paper and ink for about 10 prints. Just about enough of both to ensure that it prints the full number of prints as paper loaded into it and so that there is wastage. The whole cartridge gets changed after the ‘ink’ and the paper is exhausted. You don’t have to handle individual ink cartridges. So, there is no smudging or leakage in the fingers and so on.
With your choice of one or two under till media slots, the Series 4000 makes safely storing receipts, large bills, or other important media a snap. The spacious heavy duty till features coated bill stays and stronger than average dividers, so you can be sure your money stays put.
One thing for an inexperienced person to note is to set The max print to 48mm as the rest is for margins and would mess up The prints of you impinge further than 48mm. The loyverse app did not meet my requirements so I found another app W&O POS, however, all important features must be purchased so if you know how to do a quick Google search.. You may circumvent some requirements.
Hi @JoanneCFYF — thanks for bringing this up and sorry to hear about the frustration this is causing. It looks like another seller had the same question, and received an answer. Check out this thread by Kelly. Hope that helps for now.
Got this in about 4 days. Tried it out…perfect. Hooked it up to my iPhone 6+ and paired it like a charm… easy to operate… printed test receipts from both PayPal Here and from Square apps…. Thumbs Up!!! Portable… perfect size… and prints fast… got it for a good price too. Thank you.
The 3rd line is the most difficult. I’ve tried to keep a running list of the dozens of printer manufacturers with their internal names. For Canon, the names are print PRINT XJDIRECT pt1 or lpt1. The best answer would come from the manufacturer but when you mention Unix hosts, support folks get very nervous. If you can’t get the name(s) for your printers, you’ll have to try each one. Add the printer and send a job. If it hangs, delete the printer and try another name.
