The industry’s smallest POS 2″ receipt printer in its class, the TM-m10 thermal receipt printer saves valuable counter space, while offering the freedom to print receipts from virtually any mobile device and/or desktop PC. Ideal for cramped spaces, its modular casing can be easily switched from a top-load to front-load configuration. This versatile thermal printer offers smooth integration with existing mobile POS environments, intuitive functionality and advanced connectivity for effortless configuration. The TM-m10 is the first of its kind designed exclusively for small businesses. Featuring ePOS™ print technology, it works with iOS®, Android™ and Windows® mobile devices and desktop PCs, and offers fast, easy setup.
On the most recent model of the Star Micronics TSP650II Bluetooth wireless receipt printer (model number 39449871), auto-connect is enabled. This means that after you’ve paired your printer with your iPad, the Bluetooth connection is established automatically every time the printer’s switched on and in range of your iPad.
Slightly larger than the TM-m10, the TM-m30 POS receipt printer offers the freedom to print 3- receipts from virtually any mobile device or desktop PC. Plus, you can use one power source for your tablet and printer — exclusively from Epson.
Features on the ready print: you have your LED lights to tell you if there’s error or when you’re out of paper when the cover is open, etc. Drop in loading- just take your thermal receipt paper, drop it in, close it, and good to go. On/off switch is on the front and as we come around to the back, you can see the ports. On all versions of the ready print, there’s going to be a USB connection. This is the power plug adapter to the PS-180 Power supply, that’s a change from the previous model which had the power supply built in. Now it’s a separate power brick, it makes the unit a little smaller, it also allows you to replace one unit. Should the power supply fail, you can buy a new power supply where before if the power supply failed, then you’d have to replace the unit. Here’s your serial connection, they went back to using a 25 pin serial connection where it was a 9 pin serial connection on the previous model. Most setups are not going to use the serial printer, you’re only going to need the USB so buy the serial version but it doesn’t matter, you’re just not going to use the serial port. Your cash drawer port is located on the top and that’s how you’re going to connect your cash drawer. On other models it was down below and now, it’s up top here. Additionally there is a wall mount bracket for the printer, it screws on and you can mount on the back and that’s how you would attach it on the wall. You can also see those little cut outs here where you can put the additional set of rubber feet then if you wanted to mount it vertically, you’d have the paper feed out of it like so. You can do that as well, just two different mounting options for this printer.
The TSP650II BTi’s “Just Works” SSP profile makes the pairing process very simple to use. It allows for a quick connection without the hassle of a passkey or having to choose between iOS and Android modes. In addition, the TSP650II includes the ability to print receipts or data from a web browser-based application running on a mobile device wirelessly by configuring Star’s WebPRNT Browser.

Pros: Good Newegg price for a quality printer. Energy star compliant, quiet, and works flawlessly. Epson has always made durable products for heavy commercial use. We have been using/abusing them for years without complaint. Out of the box set up was simple and quick. Would definitely recommend this printer to anyone that needs a mid level business receipt printer.
This product worked well the first 4 weeks with the Square POS and the past few days the printer has not been printing continuously. The iPad states, “Printer Error” and the printer must be shut off and paper drawer opened up and turned back on again. There are NO returns on this item through Amazon so buyers please be aware. I am in the process of working directly with Star Micronics.

Hi this is Travis with POSGuys dot com today we’re reviewing the Epson TM-T22 Receipt Printer or the TM20 II Ready print receipt printer. This is their mid-level receipt printer, it’s their cheaper thermal receipt printer, the best thermal printer they have is the TM-T88V. This is a step below speed wise and warranty wise but it’s still a great all around receipt printer for most retail set-ups.

Epson’s main strength is its compact, energy saving and high precision technologies that it has acquired and developed over the years. The same applies to Epson’s TM series of thermal receipt printers where Epson has refined its original printer mechanisms and technologies to create products that are distinct from those of competitors such as Star, Bixolon, Citizen and SII. As part of its efforts to maintain its market leadership, Epson has also developed its original ESC/Pos command language for receipt printers.

i bought this printer to complement my diy pos system. the other items include a dell computer and monitor, and this cash drawer, all for under $700. the printer included the epson opos drivers, which allowed me to install the printer to the computer very easily. this printer also communicates with the cash drawer perfectly, and allowed me to add a custom image to the top of the receipt with very little effort.
So the TM-T20 II has about a thirty percent increase in print speed verse the previous model when printing receipts. Has a pretty good print speed and auto-cutter, it has the variable size font, it can print graphics, it can print barcodes, a good all-around print speed. The print speed is adequate compared to receipt printers from about 5 or 6 years ago, it’s as fast as any of them. Compared to the top receipt printers like the Epson TM-T885, it’s a bit slower, but unless you’re like a grocery store or a very high volume retail establishment, you probably don’t need maximum print speed- 200 millimeters per second is going to be fast enough.
With easy loading, a small countertop footprint, and an efficient paper cutter—this impact printer’s ideal for kitchens. Connect it to your point of sale via the included ethernet cable. Wi-Fi and router required.
All three printer models in the Epson TM-U220: TM-U220A, TM-U220B, TM-U220D series are optimized for high-speed throughput so customer receipts and kitchen orders print faster than ever. For maximum efficiency, the TM-U220 A (with journal take-up and auto-cutter), TM-U220 B (with auto-cutter only) and TM-U220 D (no options) all offer drop-in paper loading and two-color, black and red printing to highlight special offers and print more visible logos, and an adjustable paper width feature that allows you to use 58, 70 or 76 mm paper rolls for more flexibility and greater cost savings.
Star Micronics’ TSP100IIIWLAN is the faster, easier, and better solution for POS receipt printing. With WiFi connectivity, simple “Push ‘n’ Connect” WPS set-up, and high-speed printing of up to 43 receipts per minute, the TSP100III is perfect for any retail or hospitality environment.
